Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the cultural, social, and emotional needs that shape diverse classrooms, and a practical toolbox of strategies to foster inclusion, resilience, and engagement. With emphasis on intercultural awareness, trauma-informed approaches, and effective classroom management, the training balances theory with hands-on application, empowering educators to create supportive environments where every learner can thrive. In addition, the course highlights whole-school strategies, collaboration with families and communities, and practical digital tools that teachers can immediately apply. By combining reflection, peer exchange, and real-life case studies, it ensures that participants not only gain new knowledge but also leave with concrete solutions and inspiration for their daily practice..

COURSE MODULES & TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
Day 1 – Foundations of Diversity & Inclusion
Module 1 – Understanding inclusion & diversity in practice
Explore the core principles of diversity and inclusion and how they shape learning environments, fostering a foundation for student resilience.
Module 2 – Classroom management for diverse groups
Learn approaches to organize, guide, and support classrooms with varied student needs, promoting a sense of security and resilience.
Orientation Walk with a Local Guide (optional, complimentary)
A short post-class city walk for orientation and networking.
Voluntary, no fee, separate from the course, and not counted in Erasmus+ hours or outcomes.
Day 2 – Awareness & Bias
Module 3 – Overcoming stereotypes and biases
Identify common stereotypes and practice strategies to challenge bias in schools.
Module 4 – Building inclusive competences in students
Develop student skills in empathy, communication, and collaboration for diverse settings, strengthening their social-emotional resilience.
Day 3 – Trauma-Informed Education

Module 6 – Psychosocial support strategies
Explore classroom-based practices to provide emotional safety and support for learners, thereby building their psychosocial resilience.
Day 4 – Teaching Strategies & Adaptations
Module 7 – Differentiated instruction & inclusive lesson design
Design adaptable lessons that respond to the strengths and challenges of all learners.
Module 8 – Digital and collaborative tools
Use digital resources and teamwork approaches to enhance inclusive and intercultural learning.
Day 5 – Implementation & Sharing
Module 9 – Case studies and role-play
Apply new knowledge through practice with real-life inspired classroom scenarios.
Module 10 – Workshop: creating inclusive lesson plans
Create practical lesson plans that embed principles of inclusion, cultural responsiveness, and equitable participation
