T. E. A. - Test of English for Aviation
The ITC teachers are familiar with the T. E. A. test and have the knowledge and the ability how to prepare the candidates in order to pass the T. E. A. test successfully. ITC will be testing systematically through Aviation Language Testing the knowledge and the improvement of the candidates in the following sections: Introduction, Listening, and Discussion and will report the result. ITC will take care of the absence sheet for each student and will report on a monthly basis the attendance.
T. E. A. consists of three parts:
- Introduction – The candidates will be asked a series of questions related to their Aviation background
- Listening – The candidates will listen to a series of recorded statements presented by International speakers of English and will have to identify and give the key elements. The topics will include the non-routine and emergency situations in Aviation and general situations.
- Discussion – candidates will be asked to describe two pictures and discuss general topics related to the second picture
ITC teachers:
- The ITC teachers are TEFL/TOESOL trained and all of them have a certificate.
- ITC TEFL/TOESL certified teachers have experience in teaching Aviation English and hold T.E.A. Certificate.
- ITC will prepare the candidates for the T.E.A. test that is face-to-face interview with the examiner. ITC will be training the candidates based on the ICAO Document 9835 /ICAO Doc 9835, Section 2.7.4./, unexpected situations /ICAO Doc 9835, Section 2.7.4./ ICAO Phraseology, (ICAO Doc. 9832)
